LONG EXPOSURE TRICK:

This camera has great ability to be easy handled. I found only one little think, that need to be improved. It is a maximum shutter speed. With manufacture software it can go as low as 15sec. However there is a fix for that. Unfortunately not easiest to do, but it may work for somebody who know how to play with camera. Good thing is that you can go to 2048s with is more than 30min. This is more than enough for anyone. Bad think is that you have to update camera software each time you start camera, and you are losing some button "shortcut button" in that process. HOW TO DO IT:

-make a dummy file on root of the memory card: "vers.req";
-start camera in preview mode, then hold "FUNC.SET" button with "DISP." button together, firmware version will show on display;
-download file that match your version;
-extract it to root of your memory card;
-start your camera in preview mode;
-click "MENU", go to "Firm Update...", agree to update, click "OK";
-screen will blink;
-press SHUTTER button, lens will extract, and you will see a lot extra stuff on screen;
-press SHORTCUT button, on bottom of screen you will see "Default Script ";
-press MENU button to go to extended menu, go to "Extra Photo Operations", than "Override shutter speed";
-select length of time for your shutter speed from 1/10000 of a second to 2048 seconds (over 30min);
-go to "Value factor" and change to "1";
-press MENU, than SHORTCUT button;
-camera is ready to use overwritten settings.
